Al Milano Fashion Film Festival, The purgatory of monotony di Ace Norton ha incassato ben tre premi: Best Fashion Film, Best New Talent Director e Best Art Direction.

The purgatory of monotony directed by Ace Norton cashed three prestigious award at Milano Fashion Film Festival: Best Fashion Film, Best New Talent Director and Best Art Direction.
This brilliant fashion film showcases Rhié 2014 fall-winter collection, using an ironic and surreal register. Main character, Sonja Kinski, celebrity daughter (remember the extraordinary shot of Nastassja Kinski portrayed by Richard Avedon), plays the role of the beautiful and bored owner of a sumptuous palace.

The play of the absurd unravels itself on the background of a well-finished setting. The ordinary dismantles and objects, unhinged from their primary function, come to life, becoming the theatre hosting a nonsense performance. The soundtrack marks the rhythm of the story in the most pleasant way; the script is elegant and well structured, masterfully describing the atmosphere of the concept. Clever, humorous, quirky yet elegant, this shortmovies cross-refers to Wes Anderson‘ movies architectures and introduces us Rhié style designed for the current fashion season: easy and fluid dresses, pastel-colored double-breasted blazers, red blood capes, dove gray quilted jackets and tartan trousers.

You definitely can’t miss it!

A Milan, à l’occasion du Film Fashion Festival ,”The purgatory of monotony” de Ace Norton a obtenu trois prix: Best Fashion Film, Best New Talent Director et Best Art Direction.

Bonne vision!
